Kookalooz Space Playgrounds General Admission Policies

• Kookalooz operates in three-hour blocks of time, or sessions.  Morning 9am – 12pm, Afternoon 12pm – 3pm, and evening on Friday thru Sunday only 3pm – 6pm.  Admissions are good for those times only.  NO early entry permitted and no late or stay over permitted.  Customers may enter and leave at any time in the given three-hour block of purchased time.
• All persons entering Kookalooz must have an admission ticket or be a member of a party.  This includes adults and babies.
• No shoes permitted in the playground area. All participants must wear socks.
• All children must be accompanied by an adult.  All adults must be accompanied by a child.  Adults attending parties are considered guests of the host.
• All child participants must have a signed waiver prior to entry. See waiver link on main page.
• Adults are responsible for their children! We are NOT a drop off facility. Kookalooz does NOT provide childcare for general admission or party attendees.  Summer camps, after school programs, and parent night outs are subject to child care programs under the policies of those programs.  Children left unattended during general admission attendance will be placed in custody of law enforcement.
• ALL waivers are completed using the webpage.  NO waiver is accepted in hard copy form.
• Kookalooz does NOT sell customers data.  See Privacy Policy for more details.  Kookalooz does NOT market emails unless customer requests emails via the waiver page.
• Adults entering and participating in play at Kookalooz are responsible for their own actions and injuries during play. Active play is an inherently dangerous activity and may result in minor injuries.  Kookalooz goes to great lengths to make the playground and facility safe for all participants but cannot prevent all minor injuries.
• No alcohol permitted at any time. Violation of the alcohol rule will result in removal from the premises.
• Violence is not tolerated.  Any violent disturbance will result in immediate removal from facility.  Refusal to comply with management will result in law enforcement being contacted to remove all persons involved in disturbance.
• Discrimination is NOT tolerated at Kookalooz.  Kookalooz is an all-inclusive facility regardless of race, ethnicity, religious beliefs, or disabilities.  See Kookalooz non-discrimination policy for further details.  Violations of the non-discrimination policy will result in immediate removal from facility.
• Kookalooz is under constant surveillance for the safety of the guests and staff.  By entering Kookalooz you are agreeing to the use of surveillance for security purposes only.  Kookalooz does NOT publish or share surveillance footage for any reason except with Law Enforcement under direct court order.
• Kookalooz is not responsible for images uploaded to the internet or any other media by customers.  Almost all customers all have photographic devices available on their phones and use them often while at Kookalooz.  The inclusion of by-standards in customer photos is NOT the responsibility of Kookalooz.  By entering into Kookalooz you acknowledge that images of you and your children may be shared by other customers.  Kookalooz reserves the right to post images taken inside the facility by authorized Kookalooz personnel for marketing purposes.

• Kookalooz Party Policies

   

• Kookalooz Parties are NOT private parties.  Kookalooz party reservations are room reservations with set maximum capacity of children and adults.  Additional attendees are charged the regular admission price.

• Kookalooz operates in three-hour blocks of time, or sessions.  Morning 9am – 12pm, Afternoon 12pm – 3pm, and evening on Friday thru Sunday only 3pm – 6pm.  Admissions are good for those times only.  NO early entry permitted and no late or stay over permitted.  Customers may enter and leave at any time in the given three-hour block of purchased time.  Parties are scheduled on the half hour to facilitate set up and tear down time for customers and for cleanup by staff.

• 2 hours in the party room at the time reserved. 30 minutes set up and tear down on each end.  Guests are welcome to stay till the end of the session time after the room is vacated.
• Adults attending parties are considered guests of the host.  Host is responsible for the conduct of their guests.
• Kookalooz provides basic plates, napkins and plastic ware as well as a cake serving utensil for all birthday parties. We usually have lighters for candles only. 
• NO fireworks, sparklers, or open flame permitted.
• Set up and clean up are included, but no “host” is available.
• Bring your own food or have it delivered. Catering must not arrive before scheduled time and must leave by end of scheduled time.
• Deposit of 50% of party price required at time of booking.
• Deposit goes towards final cost.
• Final bill settled at time of party.  Kookalooz reserves the right to finalize the bill with the credit card provided in the event the host fails to or refuses to complete the transaction.  A 20% tip is included to all bills unless otherwise specified by customer.
• Must cancel or reschedule more than 14 days prior to receive refund.  No refunds on deposit within 14 days of party.
• A $10 cancellation fee is assessed to refund for processing fees.
• You may reschedule within one year and not lose deposit (private planetarium shows excluded).
• Damage to the party rooms, permanent decorations, or facility by host or hosts guests is the responsibility of the host.  Kookalooz reserves the right to assess damages to host in cases of gross negligence.

Kookalooz Camps Program Policies

By placing your children in Kookalooz Camp Program, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

• Camp Programs include: Summer Camps, After School Programs, Parent’s Night Our Programs and any other “Camp” designated activity operated by Kookalooz.
• Please DO NOT drop off before the scheduled drop off time begins.  Please be at Kookalooz on time to pick up your child. Kookalooz asks that parents be at Kookalooz no later than TIME. You agree to pay the late pick-up fee of $10.00 during the first 1-3 minutes after Kookalooz closes and an additional $1.00 fee for each one-minute increment after that time. The late fee applies to each child (i.e. if you are two minutes late and have three kids, you would owe $30.00). If you have not made contact with Kookalooz thirty minutes past closing and Kookalooz is unable to reach an emergency contact to pick up your child, Kookalooz is legally required to call the Department of Social Services and/or local authorities and may be required to turn your children over to such entity.
• You agree that no amendment or waiver of any part of this agreement shall be effective unless same as in writing by you and Kookalooz.
• You agree and acknowledge that should your child pose a danger to others at Kookalooz or if your behavior reflects negatively on Kookalooz or the services rendered by Kookalooz, Kookalooz may, in its sole and absolute discretion, terminate this Agreement upon written notice to us and require that you immediately pick up your child from Kookalooz.
• If your child becomes sick at Kookalooz, you are required to pick him/her up in a timely manner.
• In the event of a returned check, you agree to pay a $35.00 return check fee to Kookalooz.
• You give consent for all necessary emergency medical care and treatment, and you agree to pay all charges in connection with such treatment. This includes all doctor, hospital, emergency vehicle, and similar services.
• This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Colorado without regard to any conflict of law statutes and that the State Courts of Colorado located in Jefferson County shall be the sole venue and jurisdiction for the bringing of such action.
• You agree to provide a meal for your child to eat while your child is at Kookalooz. If you did not provide a meal, you agree that you must pay for the meal provided by Kookalooz.
• You agree and acknowledge that Kookalooz is not allergy free. In addition, you acknowledge Kookalooz is not a nut-free environment.
• You agree and acknowledge that Kookalooz will not provide any medications to your child unless required or life saving measures. If your child takes any medication, please administer it to your child before or after your child attends camp.
• You agree and acknowledge that if Kookalooz believes that you are intoxicated or otherwise unable to safely take possession of your child, Kookalooz may contact law enforcement.

Kookalooz Camps Cancellation & Change Policies

In the event that Kookalooz Space Playground cancels a program for any reason, all deposits and fees paid will be refunded. If the closure is for a partial week, the refund will be prorated.

In the event a family cancels a camper’s registration, the following cancellation policies apply:

• Cancellations prior to March 31, 2023 will receive a full refund, less a $25 Administration Fee for each week, per child that is registered.
• Cancellations made from April 1 through April 30, 2023 will receive a full refund, less a $100 Administration Fee for each week, per child that is registered.
• Cancellations made after May 1, 2023 are non-refundable; however, a credit (less a $100/week Administration Fee) can be applied to a Kookalooz gift card for use on any Kookalooz product or service.
• Changes made after May 1, 2023 are subject to availability. If change is made, a $25 Administration Fee for each week, per child that is registered.
• Last minute changes (made within 7 days of your child’s camp week) are charged a $100 Administration Fee for each week, per child that is registered.)

Change Request Policy

If your child is unable to attend camp due to illness, every effort will be made to reschedule your child’s camp week to a later week this summer.  Due to capacity limits not all requests can be fulfilled.  Fees above still apply.
